About Me

I love art. I've been an artist since I could use a writing utensil. After high school though I fell out of art, and I've been slacking a lot. I've done some digital work here and there, but I haven't gotten into it like I wanted. I started making Wallpapers though when I got fed up with the constant trash out there that's 800x600 or 1024x768 and pixelated and factored and doesn't scale well. So if you can't find it... make it yourself! I found this site today and am pleasantly surprised that others share my love for high quality wallpaper art.

I do most of my major work on a PC, and then all of the detailing work on my Mac. Since the MacPro is out, come this January I'll be buying one and doing all of my art on 100% Apple branded equipment. It's the best way to do anything. At work I have a 23in Cinema Display so having that much desktop space really helps in digital art. I'm a bit of a computer nerd, but a reformed one. I used to be the kid talking smack about Apple. Now I work for them... imagine that... I love anime that has a good "feel" to the art. I can't stand sloppy cookie cutter art design. It really turns me off. I like series that take risks, and try new things. Breaking the mold is the best way to make something amazing. I also love music. I listen to a LOT of rock and metal. I also collect anime soundtracks if the music really is engaging like most of Yoko Kanno's work. Her music stirs up memories of the show and your favorite characters. Also the Gundam Seed soundtracks. Those soundtracks really spring up all the memories of the trials and tribulations of my favorite characters.

So that's about enough out of me for now. I'm glad I found this site, and I hope it helps keep me active digitally so I can continue to get better and better while getting back in to my art.
